Red can you see if you have the save game for this? The file from PBEM will have a bunch of numbers and a ".pbm" extension. We thought we had all of those localization items nailed but if you are on 2.02a then something is still not covered.
Thanks for the report.

Here you go. This is my opponent's second log file.
It seems that my opponent was able to run this file on his own computer. If you can do the same, does the fault lie with my machine?

Red, What OS are you running and what country are you set too? Same question for you opponent too? Who started this game?

I started the game and played the turns (2 NATO) on both Win 7 (English) and XP Pro v2002 sp3 (Spanish) without any problems whatsoever in any of them.

Thanks Red. Rob is working on a number of localization fixes and has already fixed a couple. It will be his primary focus the next couple weeks to get all of these bugs found and crushed.

Actually, I tried to download the update once again and now it seems to work. Maybe you don't need to sweat it. I will continue playing and I will let you know if I run into trouble again.
Thanks for your support. Great game.

We are still hunting them down and we know there are still a couple hiding in odd corners of the code. So any report is a good one. Glad the update seems to have helped. Let us know if anything else pops up.

The game between RR and I seems to go well so far now but for two things: One is the already pointed password problem, it only works, for both sides, if using the magic keyword..."password". The other is that we have to use the same file name for every turn, either NATO or WP. I tried to change it to a clearer acronym (like NATO 3 or so) while saving it but the other side won't read it. It is a little bit confusing, for so to say, and if done purportedly, it should have been clearly stated in the rules manual.

We will be working on all of these PBEM errors over the next few weeks. So any and all reports issues, etcetra are welcome.

Setting aside the referred glitches, RR and I just concured that this is an ideal game for pbem. As making scenarios for two fellow humans is a piece of cake, I guess that this is a game as close to the ideal for the period as it can be! [:)]
