This is somewhat early but I am thinking toward the day of release and my first PBEM game. I have never played the boardgame, but I have played WaP and I am very knowlegeable about the Napoleonic Wars, so this game is a dream come true. I have a friend's copy of EIA, and from perusing the manual it is obvious that you really need seven players to have a proper game. I am figuring that some of the EIA veterans around here are planning to host, as it were, a full campaign and I am curious as to who you are. I want to get my hat in the ring as early as possible to be included in a seven player campaign. I am willing to play any country and have much time to devote to having my way throughout Europe. For anyone who thinks they will be running a campaign please keep me in mind and contact me as soon as you are putting a group together. Thanks in advance.

I would like to participate in a 7 player game as well, as would no doubt most posters on this board. However there is an "Opponents" link on the webpage that I suspect will eventually cover macthing.

You know, Spain and her hefty fleet should be one of the most interesting countries to play. It would be fun to play off Britain and France against each other. Turkey should be fun as well. Hell I think every country will be fun with the exception of maybe Austria. I do not want to be Austria. I have a limit to the amount of pounding I can take from France.

When the day comes, I am always available for PBEM and willing to play any power. Even German powers, doomed though they are to repeated poundings. (Geez, what happened to all my posts? I have been demoted! :p )
