Ok, so I wanna reorg my HQs and I have one oil saved. The first ARM-HQ take 0,6 oil which leaves the neat amount of 0,4. But when I wanna reorg my INF-HQ it does not allow me. What am I missing?

I think you have to click on the expend oil point button.

Huh...that does not make a lot of sense but ok. Maybe you are right.

You should be able to reorganize von Leeb. I don't know why you wouldn't.[&:] If you click on the Expend Oil Point button, it just throws away the remaining 0.4 oil points.

Do you have a saved game for this?

I've had luck switching to another unit and back in similar (but not identical) situations. Usually the options are not greyed out, but the unit does not respond. Trying to swap it to and from do not reorganize also sometimes unsticks it.

I was wondering if someone could clarify this oil query?

If I send oil to a factory to produce Build Points, can this same oil be used for reorganisation?

I have looked in both RAC and RAW and couldn't find an answer.

Nope. If used for a BP it is consumed, to be used for reorganization, you need to save it.

You can change your mind and use oil to reorganize units in the Use Oil phase. But if you do that, the oil point is consumed (assuming you use 0.5 or more of the point). And once consumed, it will not be available in the Final Production Planning phase.

I hadn't played with AFA Option 48 before due to the complex task of paperwork in recording it all. MWIF makes this so much easier and because of MWIF, I will now always choose this option.

You can use 1.45 of the last oil you re-org with. FREX re-org a HQ-Inf and a convoy point, then produce with the oil, since it was unexpended in re-org.
