looking for a play tester or two for a scenario I've been working on.

Operation Frezenberg - a defensive battle with 2 british battlegroups under 6th Armd Bde/3rd Armd Div aiming to delay the soviet advance, set in a slightly different backdrop in how the war began, it pits 6th armd bde against the 47th Guards Tank Div the lead element of the Russian 3rd shock army.
It does use one of the stock maps within FPRS

Attached updated V2 scenario file
Put credits in scenario briefing (sorry peeps)
checked and confirmed scenario is fairly balanced under 2.03

11/04/14 - updated to 2.03a patch levels

Playable from NATO only.

Soviet leaders called a secret meeting of Warsaw Pact political and military leaders in Moscow on the 15th Aug 1988. In the meeting they outlined a surprise bitz attack on NATO, the plan called for the attack launched from the barracks when the troops were stationed. This was to be preceded by Special Forces and convention warhead missile attacks on key installations.
The attack was to be commence in 48 hours...the leaders rushed out of the secure meeting room.

Can you lead a British armored battlegroup as they desperately try to hold back the tide of soviet tanks

It's a fun scenario. I might have achieved a marginal victory if I had remembered mines and special artillery munitions at the start of the game.

And I should have fully committed to my initial gamble. But no spoilers here. [;)]

I will be shooting for a tactical victory next time through.

Never have got that tactical victory. I was happy to finally get a marginal. I have never received more than two mine shots since my first lucky game.

Good job.

Glad to see you enjoying it enough to replay it [:)]

Would be interested to know how you use the infantry units and how much action do they see

Played it three or four times. [:)]

The infantry in the wooded hills on the left flank always gets a workout.

One or two of the companies at the bridge gets worked over pretty well.

The stats from the last go around show 9 APC and 11 infantry fallen out, and 11 APC destroyed.
