I downloaded the game today 11/28. The intro runs but after that it returns to the initial selection screen. When I click play I get "ctgw.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close"

I have checked for current video card drivers and reininstalled the vsredirect in the game file.

I also have tried starting the game with intro off, non full screen etc and no combination of options works.

I have windows xp and a visiontek radeon x1550 graphics card.

I have other Commander games and they work fine.

It is most likely driver problem, but would be nice to get some more info on your hardware and drivers:

I used the link for the drivers which says I have the most up to date version.My video card supports up to opengl 2.0

The glewinfo.exe crashes when I try to run it.

I have already installed the Visual C++ 2012

Game will not run.

I sent the other files requested already the dxDiag and the ctgw

Other ideas?
