Very robust trucks and very ramshackle buldings

Ver 1.02 Build 474
(The following #'s refer to numbers of the items in DB)

Truck #1981 and #624 seems almost armored is it it took several hits from Hellfire, Hydra Rockets 12.7mm and 30mm weapons. Seems to me that each truck entry has 4 separate trucks embed hence the 30m x 30m size? 4 direct hits of any one of those weapons should have destroyed the target.[:@]

On the flip side, as far as I can see Building #115 took less than 250 rounds from 7.62mm MG and was destroyed. As per the database, the building is 70m x 40m (approx 3000 sq ft) and if you've ever seen the Clint Eastwood movie "The Gauntlet", you'll know that it takes a lot more than 250 rounds to bring down a lot smaller building.[:D]

Thanks
Steven Raymond

Hmm. Tested fine. 4 for 4 hellfire hits.

Can you confirm what db you were using? There was an issue with an earlier db.

Mike, I don't recall exactly but it may have been an earlier db version. In playing and fine tuning my scenario, I have discovered that fire within buildings makes them deteriorate much faster even if it has only 10% damage. It just came at a surprise that in 5 minutes that a large building could be destroyed by gunfire alone not realizing that it was fire that did the damage.

As for the trucks, I don't believe that they were hit with 4 hellfires and it was a combination of hellfires, hydra rockets, 12.7mm and 30mm gunfire. I tallied the hits and I counted six direct hits from the various weapons so in hindsight, its not as bad as I made it out to be. Realistically could a unarmored vehicle receive a direct hit from an AH-1 Cobra cannon burst and survive? I think so but if your the pilot I think your making a phone call to the developer of the system. [:'(]

If it's really imperative I'll look to see what DB it was.
