Game asking to "Add database changes?"

I'm playing a Scenario 2 game with the database changes. I already installed them per the instructions, however when I load the save game file it has asked me if I want to add the database changes to my game.

I can select Yes and it updates successfully, but why is it even asking me if I haven't changed anything? This is the second time it has done so.

If I select Yes and then complete my PBEM turn, will there be any problems?

Guessing - is it possible that your opponent has not added them?

Here's the weird thing. I ran the replay, saved the turn in two slots, and closed the game. To come back to doing orders later. I've done this before on this computer, in this installation... But why would it ask me now? When I ran a turn here about 10 days ago, it didn't ask me for database changes.

We've been running with the database changes for 3 months. It did this to me about 2 months ago, but I couldn't remember at the time if I had loaded the save file up on this computer or not.

In a PBEM, during the Japanese load save phase, the game checks the save 'scenario value' against that of the same scenario in the SCEN directory. If the the 2 numbers don't match, then you get asked the question.
So basic question would be, did you change or edit the scenario (which would have changed its 'scenario value') that you are playing from the save file?

Usually when I run the turn, I don't save and then reload it. So in the case of doing the orders phase immediately after the replay is run, as Japan, it won't check against the scenario value if I am understanding things correctly?

The only thing I can figure is that I didn't properly install the DB updates in that installation.
