Is there a way to change or reduce the transparency of the quick menus on the left side of the screen from light gray to more black or solid background?

I cannot read the text depending on which zoom level that I have selected.

any connection to anything that even distantly smells like mod ?

Might be good to ask in tech support, this seems like a UI options request more than a mod request. Just guessing.

Thanks. I was not sure where to post this question. I saw in the DW modding guide that the transparency for some items could be modified. I can post this in the tech support section.
