DoW loop - Barbarossa

Hi we both patched to the 1.06 version and started up a new Barb scenario, because of issues with our Guad one which I will post later.

After setting up all the units the game would then do the DoW and have Germany and Italy DoW USSR. It would then just continually cycle the DoW and wouldn't let us play.

On a side note we tried using the save setup functions, and while they sorta worked for the most part they don't and won't. It seems unless you have the exact same units drawn at the start of a scenario it can't use your setup.

When I used the restore setup, the 3 HQ, and naval units went on the map but nothing else.

Oh and as an FYI, this was on net play.. we tried 2-3 times.. we switched to hotseat sharing the desktop and are chugging along fine.

The Restore Setup files ONLY work with the non-randomized units. So for Russia you are correct in that they are of limited help. But for other countries, they are very useful. I hope this helps.

Same thing happened to me, but I persisted in clicking through the DoW message through many iterations and finally the game continued on to the next phase.
