I have the original version of Storm of Heroes which I have recently updated with the latest patch.I have played three scenarios up to turn three or four as Germans. Everything works fine and then at the end of the turn the game crashes to desktop. I get a long message (by the way how do you save these) which I don't understand. Does anybody have the same experience? Does anybody know a fix? Thanks in advance.

I have had some CTD's at the start of scenario's (particularly if I try to play as Russian vs German AI), but very few while playing. I don't use auto save, and have a new laptop with Windows 8. Try playing with the autosave function turned off and see if that helps.
