Do You Get Out Much?

Ok I am risking being annoying here, but in defense of my post, I have been actively dragging people back HERE too.

Just curious, how many of our fellow posters here are Matrix Matrix and nothing but Matrix forums types?

I have been active at Battlefront's Strategic Command Forum, but I have recently said good bye.
Nothing wrong with the forum though, I just resolved that the game was to far in the direction of "beer and pretzels" and not far enough in the direction of Advanced Third Reich (which effectively killed my need to participate).

I am active over at Wargamer Discussions, but their forums sure could use some fresh blood.
They have a very friendly mob in there, or at least I have never seen a moody objectionable juvenile style post.

The constant begging for cash though is about appealing as the people on PBS begging for cash.

I have seen numerous sites (which I have all bookmarked so I can look in on them occasionally), but I seem to be mainly a Matrix and Wargamer Discussion type myself these days (after spending a couple of months taste testing).

I like to go to the Military Gamer Forum, but that's not really that diferent, what with Wild Bill and many of the people on this forum being over there:

http://www.militarygameronline.com/forums/index.php?s=

I visit the forums of other companies just for tech-support and get out afterward.

Then there's Chickensalad's forum, with Doggie's dog house attached

http://www.xsorbit4.com/users/chickensalad/index.cgi

There are also other kinds of sites where I like to go, the so-called blogs (short for weblog). They are usually in a kind of diary form, updated every day or two. You can also leave commnts there.

Some examples:

http://giparty.org/
GI Party is the blog of some young American service members.

http://www.janegalt.net/
This is "Live from the WTC", by "Jane Galt". The name is obviously inspired by John Galt, a character from a novel by Ayn Rand

by Stephen Green

http://www.snappingturtle.net/jmc/flit/
Flit is a Canadian blog with attached forum

No, I don't get out much.

Used to lurk at the spwaw but then came 9/11 so I joined up. Clicked myself into the mess at the Art of Wargaming and that was that. ;)

I also post on the MGO and Saladforum boards (see Kraut's first two links.)

I have a sneaking suspicion that Wulfir lurks on those boards as well. ;)

Whhaaaat????

Almost totally Matrix AOW, contrary to opinion there is some intelligent discussion there, not much-but some!:)

And since I am addicted to the Jagged Alience series I spend a little time at 'Bearpit's Forum' at,

http://www.ja-galaxy-forum.com/

Otherwise I lurk here and there, but "THE ART OF WAR" forum is my home!

The Matrix forum is the only one I've spent time in lately. I'm a newbie poster here, but I've been lurking for about two months and it has become my new homepage. The only other forum that I have participated in is at CivFanatics, a wonderful site for the Civilization series. BTW, the Civ 3 developers, Firaxis, are the only people I've seen that even come close to the level of dedication Matrix shows to it's products and players.

I'm active on two forums: Matrix of course, the 2nd being at:

http://www.theaerodrome.com

Site dedicated to WWI aircrafts, with forums about aircrafts, pilots, bordgames and softwares, model making (static and flying...)

Les, as a model maker I think you agree it's cool to discuss about techniques and other stuff, and to have the opportunity to see the reactions of other "afficionados" when you show your work, like this:
