Lost Tutorial Found

I finally found my original tutorial I wrote for Matrix which never got shipped with the game. Its 21 MB (or 246 pages) I put in a drop box folder, not sure if there is a way to make that public per se, but either let me know how to do this or drop me an email.

I wrote the first part of the tutorial that did ship with the game but did not finish it, so someone else came in and finished off what I started. This boot camp I wrote is very detailed, however I did write it before some of the patches came out, but it should still be sufficient to get to know the game or help out in some tactics or understanding. Its mostly geared to the new guy.

I'd like to have it :) I think the best way to share it is to upload it to a file host http://www.filedropper.com/

No problem and glad to have helped you back then, I am 'refreshing' myself on it and am surprised how much effort I put into it (of course at the time I was a play tester and was consumed with it), lol.

Cheers.

Drop box lets me do a share, but see if you can access this link or not, I am having trouble figuring out how to share this with others unless I do it one by one email at a time?

The selfish part of me wishes you'd visit War in the West, War in the Pacific, World in Flames and others. I've not seen anything this thorough. Ever!

Having done something myself recently that was very tedious and time consuming with PDF's, albeit much more uninspiring, have you entertained the idea of ever doing this again?

I wonder why this never shipped with the game? If it were my decision it would be the first document players came into contact with.

This is tremendous, almost as good as my guide :P

Actually, probably better than my guide (ouch, my ego!) [&o]

Just popping into this thread to say that this is excellent.

It deserves to be the first post, to have the top spot.

It has helped me tremendously, and I believe many, many others as well.

It is much easier to learn by watching others do something and then doing it yourself than reading a gazillion page instrucion manual. Most boardgame creaters have learned this lesson and so most now include examples of play in their booklets.

Having said that, get off your ***, you lazy git, I don't think you have ever put in anything about leaders, Admin Points and unit creation. (These are (I think?) the only concepts that must be shown to new players to complete the picture of play).
