Two hex advance through forest

yvesp's after action report has a battle where the American achieved a breakthrough result (B), and proceeded to make a two hex advance into an empty hex (post 356). Unfortunately, the attacked hex was forest, and yvesp is using the motorized movement rule, so this advance should have been impossible. As it is not my game, I do not have a save.
If the defending hex only cost 1 movement point (modified for weather), you can advance each attacking HQ-A, ARM and MECH unit a second hex
Forest costs motorized units two movement points when using the motorized movement rule.

If he was also using Option 37: (Railway movement bonus) and the advance was along a RR then it is legal.

He was. My apologies for reporting a bug in someone else's game, when it did not exist. I only did it when he said that it was a bug.

No worries, the more non-bugs, the better. [:)]
