Hi guys,

i just purchased the game and try the Battle of Britain scenario.

I learned to master the pigheaded menu and control (the first problem to solve).

During playing my first eight roungs, i made some observations:

1. I got a ration of (Lw:RAF) of 5:1. Even using Close Escort or High Escort (3000 or 5000 ft above the bombers) didn't help.

2. When making Fighter Sweeps, my planes attacking any target en route.

3. I don't see the that "Set Patrol Point" don't seems to be any effect.

I hope you can help me. The game is okay, but i hope to enjoy more fun when getting better results.

Greetings,
LeCricket

I assume you are playing as the Luftwaffe.

1. You have to mix your escorts, some close, some high, even some on delay. IMHO, the bf110 is not worth using. Also, you will want around 2+ fighters to each bomber.

2. Yes, so plot the raid so it doesnt overfly potential targets.

3. It seems to work OK for me, I regularly sweep Biggin Hill and set Kenley as the patrol point, if you get into combat maybe orders are forgotten?

You set your sweep with a Target of Biggin Hill and a Patrol Point of Kenley.

Sometimes, if you get into a dogfight at Biggin the orders to patrol to Kenley are forgotten. (Could equate to lack of fuel or ammo)

Just like the real thing your units sometimes do their own thing, or get lost.....
