Painfully realistic order delay.
No time constraints but I'll aim for about 2h realtime for 24h gametime.
If you're reading this, I'd appreciate some advice as I go along.
HTTR strategy guide has been read. So have the manual and I've remembered the nine principles of war:
1. Offensive.
2. Maneuver.
3. Mass.
4. Security.
5. Unity of Command.
6. Simplicity.
7. Economy of force.
8. Surprise.
9. Objective.

Other things to remember:
1. Fatigue management: resting, fewer night attacks, no long distance assaults.
2. Use of terrain, especially regarding the protection of infantry.
3. Avoiding increased order delay.

Blue arrows = Allied movement.
Red arrows = Axis movement.
Green arrows = Axis plans.
Blue stuff = Allied blood.
Red stuff = Axis blood.
Long line with perpendicular short lines = defensive positions.

I'm going to have to postpone this game until the patch and hope that the following has been fixed because it's a pain in the ass.

And I'd really like for coys to be able to be given fire orders without causing a replan by their HQ. Say a Bn is assaulting an objective and the right most coy is in a covered position to fire upon the enemy, a crash fire order that results in them defending in-situ would be an excellent way of getting units into favorable terrain and could be explained by the coy being told to assault and hold that position when the Bn HQ assault order was given. Does that make sense? For example 3.190 in the upper right is assaulting towards the NW and could be given a fire order when they are in the woods adjacent to them. Otherwise they move around in open terrain. 1.990 could be given a fire order where they are since that's a good position and 2.190 could also advance another 100m to the edge of the forest.
