I'm not sure if anyone feels the same way, but when you put the information bar at the bottom of the screen, I notice there is a large number that changes very rapidly. I'm not sure what this represents, but it's constant rapid changing is actually a little distracting. Also, even if it did represent something, it's changing so rapidly, you could never read it. Is there any way to have an option to turn this number off? What's it for?

Some say those numbers are the launch codes for the ICBM's. Some say it is the national deficit. Even some say it is Sunburn's paycheck.

Go open the game and open any scenario....watch the weird number closely...then start moving the mouse.

Notice how the number "changes" faster as you move the mouse.

That should give you a hint as to whats eventually going to happen with that number.

Has this been established or confirmed? The rumor I heard was weather, but it doesn't really make sense why mouse movement should impact that.

My guess has always been that it is the game's random number generator and that it uses mouse movements as additional seeds.

Im not in the beta test yet (still working on that) but to me it looks like there is going to be some sort of range finder tool put there. What we are seeing now is a placeholder.

maybe im wrong and it is something even better than that. (ToT timer maybe)

Or maybe im right and it is Sunburns hourly salary.
