I've put up an updated House Rules. The rules haven't changed but everything after that has been rewritten. The secton explaining plotting I hope will help newbies. Constructive criticism welcomed. Anything missing? Any volunteers to write what's missing or expand what I've done?

Fine work, Ed. Thanks.

I've uploaded it to my site as a mirror, if I am allowed to do so... :)

Good job,

If I may add one more thing about plotting move.

In my experience when you plot your move for two or three different Armored unit, you do not to think we will move first, they all move in perfect harmony and they will all follow the plot you have gave to them. So neither one of these armored unit will block the path of his armored friends. Very usefull when you plan your action.

About Soviet strategy in first blizzards turns for winter 41:

I have only two concern

1. is to gain maximun experience for my troops at the end of the first winter so I overfulling my unit with 8 divisions in order to have a maximun of unit gaining experience. In my first winter I always choose easy prey for my unit to minize my lose and to maximize my experience gain for the 8 units.

2. is to make a maximun lost to German in order to eat his squad pool for the rest of the war.

If you manage to keep Moscow free and you use this tactic, I assure you, you will smash your German opponent.
