Nevada upgrade issue

Nevada did indeed lose her armored conning tower in her post-Pearl Harbor rebuild. This was in compensation for other weight gains. You can see the details in Friedman US Battleships. The other upgrades in the OOB are hypothetical, put in just in case Nevada or her sister were not sunk/seriously damaged in the Pearl Harbor attack as played out in a given game of AE.
All of the major rebuilds appear to have either lost their conning towers or had them replaced with lighter ones (cruiser style, IIRC). Those that did not get a new conning tower had lighter armor added to fire control director positions.
Some question about Pennsylvania, but I believe she too lost her conning tower. If there is an error in the OOB it might be Pennsy retaining the full tower armor.
