Can we have an option to add reference points to intercept/strike mission. As it is right now intercepts are triggered as soon as an enemy is detected and within range and that could be +700nm out which may not be optimal if you are wanting to keep your fighters close to a particular friendly asset

Guys we're slowly getting there. The Speed/Alt window now allows you to give waypoint orders, and you can change the waypoint symbol to 'Target'. We're currently designing the mission logics to go with that symbol. Will probably take take a little time before everything is working though, as it is quite complex.

Thanks! [8D]

That's the nice thing, Ragnar.

Command is getting there, and pretty darn quickly.

The "darn quickly" part is unusual in the gaming industry, so thank you!

Once I get my wish-list MALD-160 ranges (um, and all my other unreasonable requests) I will worship at your feet...

On a similar issue, might I enquire whether the request to establish an
'extension' to the patrol area has been similarly 'accepted'?

This mainly covers the issue of fighters on CAP being either limited to
a specific, relatively small, area or, if investigation of contacts outside the CAP area
is allowed, disappearing off into the blue yonder as soon as any contact within their range
is located.

The original idea proposed was to allow a patrol, as now, within one set of reference points
with the option of establishing another wider set to 'limit' their investigation of contacts
to those found in the 'wider' area.

Thanks for an absolutely excellent product.

Lol no need for that hehe, your requests are in the queue and I'll will get to them as soon as I've cleared a few other code items [8D]

Thanks for the reminder!

Thank you for your feedback Bazza. Curious why increasimg the size of the patrol area won't work though.

Perhaps a better solution could be to specify a max range the planes will wander from the patrol zones?

Like a max commit range? That might work as well. Only issue with that is that you cannot define a real threat direction and that it is (I assume) circular. Still, it'd be a start :)
