Personally, I prefer a series over a campaign but that is really not very mainstream.

For most, I am guessing the campaign would be more popular.

So REMF's idea of "both" would be ideal.

Whats the difference between a campaign and a series?

A series is a group of scenarios that should be played in order where as a campaign is linked with core units.

Hope this helps!

As long as you account for the increased experience the core force will have when setting up the opposition in the later parts of the campaign, I think it is more fun to have units you have "grown" with.

This is something LV MC didn't handle too well, imho. After 50 battles I'm having *elite trucks*...not mentioning the 120+ exp stugs & infantry...

I almost feel sorry for the russkies..almost :)

I agree with you on that.

M4Jess,

I'd prefer a mini-campaign (a la Wild Bill's Munda). I like to watch my men grow and develop from my choices. I also don't like spending 3 hours on one turn (which can happen at the climax of battles in my Long WWII campaign). Alas, since the Long WWII campaign doesn't seem to make small maps very well, I've got little that interests me. A full company is about as much equipment as I want to handle... and I want to watch it grow. So that's my 2 cents, American. Mini-Campaign. (Mini with respect to unit size. Make it 30 battles and I'll still be happy. :D)

just you wait
