Can someone point me in the right direction. There seems to be some sort of layer involved that I am finding hard to work around.

You just need to replace the existing art with a new piece with the same name, size and format (PNG, I believe for those). The files are in /Assets/Map Markers.

Thanks for your reply. However I think you are mistaken.

The markers are on a white background. When you import them the background turns black. When you export them it shows as a black square in the game with the marker inside. I have tried a white background and no background but nothing works, There must be some sort of layering involved.

What software are you using? The png file should come into the software with the transparency intact. If not, check the settings to see how png files are handled. Some software packages have two modes for png transparency use.

Thanks. I was not aware that there might be 2 options for a PNG transparency.

It seems I was mistaken and not you. Thanks for the information.

That has messed me up on a number of occasions over the year. You would think one behavior would be enough and you could have a second format for the other like PNH or PNT.
