Maria y Victoria...

I realized I haven't been posting AARs! I played Maria and Victoria last night and this afternoon, in between a boatload of real life.
I sank the minesweeper at the mouth of Estrecho de San Carlos (Falkland Sound to the hated limeys) then went to periscope depth to get an ESM read on what was out there. Spotted a couple helo search radars, decided hanging around up there wasn't smart. Back to 'just above the layer' to wait.
Helloooooo, time compression!
Crept around getting a picture of what was where... lots of contacts. I assumed the three bunched-up "Skunks" without sonars would be the 'Phibs, so I tried to avoid getting picked up by the various sonar-carrying ships. Back and forth between "as deep as possible" and "just above the layer" to avoid detection but maintain a picture.
I got lucky, made it past the screen, and nailed all three 'phibs. As a torpedo was running toward the last one, I got greedy and turned back toward the cans. Bad move... before I could get to firing position I got nailed. I spotted one sonobouy, then the map blinked white, and I was informed that a torpedo (most likely helo-launched) had wiped out the intrepid ARA San Luis.
