A/C reseach problem/question

I was under the impression that turning off Prod in the R&D Air screen prevented the researched a/c going into production once 100 was reached. I also thought that turning on Upgrd automatically selected the next researchable a/c in the research chain. Now the later may work but the turning off Production does not. Fortunately my PBEM partner was willing to go back a turn or a major portion of my Army research into army LB would be screwed.
Latest patch, save attached.

AFAIK "upgrade" means upgragding into a production site and "production" means producing R&D while you still produce R&D points when turned off. Doesn't all sound very logical to me but that was how I was told.
You want to have your R&D set to "no" "yes" "no" if you don't want them to turn into production sites automatically.

Your right it doesn't sound logical. I'd have thought YYN would result in the next R&D a/c being researched. Still if that's what it has to be I'll try in next.
