Yep, patch to 1.2, and also download the latest build (currently B486) from
here.
The team are constantly improving the game, so keep an eye on this forum for the latest builds.

Yes as guanotwozero said first patch to latest. Do this by way of the Command launcher screen after installation. Select the "Check for Update" option and it will do the rest. Then if you want the latest build, which you do, Then get it from this site. At this point it is build 486. For it you apply manually, that is just download and unzip to your Command dir answering yes to all the over-right dialog. Now your ready to go. To learn the game play small scenarios. Stand up and south china clash are great beginner scenarios.
