Hello all,

I would like to compile a list with the best scenarios out there - official or community-made.

So I would like you to post here, or send my by PM, your top-5 favourite scenarios. These are the scenarios that were a big challenge or had a good flow etc.

In P1 should be your favourite scenario.

I will then make an aggregate of all the lists I receive and post it here - so we can endlessly debate it ;) but at the same time it will be a great list for newcomers and for people discovering scenarios they haven't seen yet.

I see some titles I don't recognize.

Do most scenarios make it into the Community Pack, or is there another source out there for CMANO scenarios?

Hi Paul,

Just check the Mods and Scenarios Thread. There are tons of scenarios (I now have over 100 including the orig community pack) and they are pretty easy to download. That way you can pick and choose from a wide variety of diverse situations, read through the side briefings and see if they are ones you would be interested in or challenged by (or not). Lots to choose from!

Thanks! I guess I was assuming that scenarios posted there would eventually make it into the community pack, so I wasn't checking past the first pages.

1. Operation Brass Drum
2. The Big Stick
3. Fighter Weapons School - GAT 5 and 6
4. COMAO Training: Transport Day
5. Operation Lightning Strike

I'll be the first to admit that I have not played every scenario out there, been a bit busy as of late. But these ones I definately enjoyed. I prefer air power centric scenarios :)

And as a bit of advertising I want to give mention to my own two scenarios :p
- Frisian Flag (I'm very happy how this one turned out. It's also in the community pack)

- Facing the Dragon (not in the pack for now, I want to tweak this a bit but it requires some future CMANO functionality. Still very playable though and enjoyable according to some people :)

Maromak thanks for the recognition! I appreciate it [8D] And I encourage everyone who hasnt to try my scenarios of course, especially Frisian Flag [:D]. Thanks! [:)]

I haven't been playing CMO for a while and I thought I'd bump this thread to hopefully get other people replying with some suggestions of more modern scenarios (Hopefully making good use of LUA and other functionality added in the last 18 months or so for CMO.

My list is the scenarios I keep coming back to play over and over again - but I would really like to see what other players favourite scenarios are today as a a suggestion of what I ought to try next.

1. Biddle's Team
2. Baltic Storm
3. Corvette Group off Bressay
4. Northern Fury 5 - Bardufoss Blues
5. Canary's Cage

1. Under African Skies
2. Havana Daydreamin
3. Goodnight Irene
4. Frisian Flag
5. Canary's Cage

The first three probably could use some love, but Feltan put together some of the most immersive scenarios ever outside of DLCs. I just wish UAS had continued.

True, Feltan's scenarios are excellent. They have it all: great story, detailed briefing, right challenge...
Unfortunately he only made 3 scenarios.

Yeah, I always wondered what happened to him. His scenarios still stand up.

Now I definitely have some good suggestions to check out. Interesting that one of the scenarios most commonly mentioned here is Canary's Cage. That scenario has really stood the test of time according to the communtiy.

Under African skies would definitely be on my top ten list and if Havana Daydreamin and Goodnight Irene were made by the same author I definitely have to check them out first.

When CMO was released all existing scenarios were re-released on Steam Workshop with Baloogan (If I remember correctly) listed as the author on the Steam Workshop page which has made it much harder to find new pre-CMO scenarios from the authors one really liked.
Miguel Molinas (I know he's here so I hope I got his name right) was probably my favourite author with his typically small but in my opinion often very enjoyable scenarios that one could play in a sitting or two.

Cheers guys and thanks again!
