I have set the date to Dec 1943, it's a quite large winter map, vis 17, turns 15, points 4900. Me Ge, You Rus.
I have made the shopping, but not yet the deployment. If this looks fine to you, then I'm ready to start. If not, suggest changes or make them.
The Beast is hungry:mad:
Any slot but 8 or 9 goes.

The weather is clear and cold, the chilly wind from the east is blowing in our faces, when we set forth to throw the Russians back behind Ural. Our artillery have prepared the ground, and the sound of engines fill the air. This will have to be an easy one, because no Ivans are still in sight.
OKH reports stated, that we are likely to meet meet a mixed, decimated and low-morale force that will break in first contact.
Btw, the middle VH's are all 15 pts /turn.
huh

Several red tanks sighted both in the north and center. One T34 damaged. Plenty of arty tubes on the Russian side, also our Nebelwerfers have spoken.

Up on the ridge in the north the Tiger gunner takes carefully aim at the T-34 exposing it's flank in the center. Kaboom, one hot AP-greeting whistles through the air, hits, but nothing. It must have been something wrong with the warhead, probably some Russian POW along the factory line have something to do with it, the gunner thinks. There goes another one Kaboom, but despite the hit, nothing happens.
There are also other tanks in sight, but no-one even returns fire. Strange.
One T34 killed by elite infantry, of those who have been taking the heat until now.

One T34 destroyed, some infantry. My airborne in the north is still having a rough time. Maybe they will get some release soon. The russian 120mm Mortars are devastating.

Aarggh, a whole platoon of Airborne lost. I wonder if they were real ones.
Some tankodesantniki put their nose somewhere they shouldn't have. They are not serving the Motherland so well anymore, if we don't count fertilizing the ground as serving. A few T34 went also. Let's see if we can stabilize the ground in the north or not!

Yep, "going to get more ammo or something":D

Exposed more forces to you this turn, it's part of the German masterplan.
A couple of T34 to evade scrapmetal from.

A german Pzfaust team has fired his last shot in anger,my morale officers are reporting they are running low on ammo while trying to instill the troops with heroism.

I thought I had learned the basics o combined arms, but in the north I have to admit that I failed, at least until now. The airborne wasn't able to stand against the t34's and tankodesantniki. Southwards things are proceeding differently however.
Two T34 less to fight.:p

Finally the vh's in the center are ours! The SS made a straight forward fast movement, and the other SS platoons jabbed from the south. 2 KV's, burning, one stunned. 2 or 3 T34 shot to bits. Bodies of tankodesantniki lying scattered on the battlefield.
