bug with interception combat and surprise points

Just started a new game testing out the new patch. On turn 1 Germany flew her nav bomber out to the north sea. After overrunning the Polish fleet, the nav intercepted the Polish ships while they fled to Scapa. The Germans rolled a 1, the Polish rolled a 9. Germany was not given any surprise points to use in the ensuing combat.

Not sure yet if this is a bug for interception combats in general or if it is specific to any of a) Polish units, b) intercepting overrun ships, or c) all naval combats under the new build.

Did this happen in the first axis impulse? If it happened in the second axis impulse I think 0 surprise points is correct due to surprise.

First Axis impulse. The issue is probably a multiple states of war issue. Germany is at war with Poland, who is surprised, but Poland is aligned with the UK, who is neither at war nor surprised.

That is relatively good news, as intercepting overrun ships used to be very problematic in the digression phase. Game blocker at my side for months. 'Only' not receiving surprise points is a huge improvement.
