Can anyone else replicate this? I was unloading with a Transport TF at a smaller port with a large xAP that weighed in at 18,000+ tons. The docking limit per ship at the port is 12,000 tons.

I had a smaller TF docked, with a 4,000+ ton ship in it. I transferred the 18,000+ ton ship into the TF while it was docked, no problem. It didn't even occur to me that it should have been an issue.

The next turn, I transferred the smaller ship out. The code forced the 18,000+ ton single-ship TF out of the dock due to ship size. It shouldn't have let me transfer the ship into the TF in the first place...

Assume that transfer routine may not be checking new TF size.

Noticed something strange with this. The TFs in question are TF 422 and 165.

Note that the 3 large xAPs on location there have some strange numbers for cargo/troop capacity (IIRC, I already ended the PBEM turn). In the TF info screen, and according to the ground unit list, they appear to have unloaded....but in the ship info screen, they still appear almost full.

Okay, eventually replicated it. Seems that the transferred ship's tonnage is being added to the port tonnage available, not subtracted.

Attached is a EXE that checks for port tonnage and FT TF check fix.

Just tried it and I get "Error: Unable to find PW data!!" when I try to run it. It seems to unzip fine.

Copy it into the beta directory and run the beta shortcut

Thanks guys, but it was just a happy accident, Michael deserves all the kudos for remaining an active supporter of fixes [8D].


As a followup, until the troop unloading of the xAPs completed (they were down to 116 Cargo on one, and 6 Troops on another), the load/capacity numbers of the ships were wonky. In one case, 2616 out of 2500 Cargo capacity was used. In the other, it was 6 Troops over its maximum Troop capacity. This "issue" resolved itself once the Troops were off the ship.
