Air combat hang during rebase digression

While trying to reproduce the rebase digression bug I came across another air combat hang.
To reproduce:
Enable set die rolls
Skip forward to attack resolution and let CW advance into Kiel.
Select Schlesien and click in Baltic Sea
Intercept with CW (flipping the Beaufighter)
Roll 4 for CW amd 1 for GE
Choose naval air
Fly both carriers as figthers
If the game does not hang, try aborting after first round of combat.
