Playing scenario 2 in German campaign. AT gun in building 2 squares away from good order german infantry with ldr and mg. The AT gun moves into the street adjacent to me! Is it planning to melee? I wax it with opportunity fire of course.
Thought you should be aware. Otherwise haven't seen too many egregious AI moves.

Did the AT gun see the the enemy? If not is just got ambushed as it moved.

Yeah, that doesn't sound good. I'll look at it.

I can almost always see what the AI is doing if you send me the Autosave right after it happens (or Autosave (Campaign) if you were in a campaign game). That autosave is always right before the AI turn. Just email to tomp@matrixgames. Thanks.

Funnily enough this was an issue in Combat Mission origional also. AT guns exposing themselves or coming out of entrenchment annoyed me to no end at all. I hope this is just a bug and not wad.

Cmon Mark you're a programmer you're suppose to know these things. [:D]
WAD = working as designed.

Hmmmnn.
In Britain, a 'wad' is something else entirely.
When travelling in the fine county of Essex, one might encounter a young man in a track suit shouting, " Oi! Mate! Look at the size of my wad!'
For example.
He may be driving a white Ford XR2i.

In the Downtown scenario, I just had the AI run a squad of infantry across the length of my line AFTER all of these units had fired (i.e. they were not hidden). Seems like a weird move to make by any standard.

Do you happen to have the autosave file from right when you saw that? Thanks.
