Squad sizes are only estimations using standard numbers of 24 aircraft in fighter squads and 12 in non-fighter squads, such as bombers, etc.

Hmm, that's interesting... was just looking at the wikipedia page and it doesn't list any A-10 squadrons at all, except for the two test/eval ones.
Anyone know if the A-10s are all reserve/ANG now?

If you want a more accurate assignment of aircraft to squadrons and what types they use google onductchwings. It is a database of most NATO countries with number and each type of aircraft (with serial numbers)in a given squadron, wing, or base. It is what I use to find information on squadrons, it is also helpful in beginning the research for the carrier air wing complements by looking at the tailcodes of the US naval fighters.

There were some active duty A-10s in Afghanistan as recently as 2011, I'll look it up.

I'm fairly certain that the 74th and 75th FS are still using A-10s. Not for much longer though.
