:( can anyone tell me if they have came up against an inpregnable russian wall at vyzama and moscow in 1941.
i have played against an opponent who seems invincible in 41 . he seems to group several hqs near his front line of men which is suually 2 lines deep .
any thought on this type of strategy and how are the russains managing to hold ground after several interdictions and repeated ground attacks .

Could be a number of factors at play, such as:

- High entrenchment levels of Soviet units outside Moscow
- The strength of the defending units (such as AT strength)
- The Soviet player might have concentrated most of his reserves and strength for defending Moscow
- You are up against a very good player

My two cents worth...
