Hi Chem,
Thanks for doing this. I will back up my original files and try yours.
However I suspect that they may pose a problem for multi-player as both players would not have the same file names.

For multiplayer the host sends the scenario file to the other player (I foresaw horrible sync issues should someone have two versions of a custom scenario out there), so it shouldn't matter if you rename anything on your end. Where it will get confusing is after a patch that contains any single-player scenario updates, but none have been altered as of 1.04.
