Hi all,
Thanks to Miquel - take a bow [&o] - we now have a new option when issuing an attack order, namely to Defend In Situ. If you check this box then the force will conduct an In-Situ Defend after completing the final reorg.

Am I right in thinking that this is what I was begging for in another topic, where the companies defend in arrowhead if the attack order uses arrowhead? Because that is amazing!

Not quite, Mahatma..but close... now, your issue about road column can be gotten rid of.. they will just defend "in situ" -- in the positions they ended their attack, if you click that box before the attack as one of the options.

The issue of road column has also been dealt with in this latest build. I'll post up the changes later today.

As navwarcol says, not quite - they defend in whatever positions they ended up when the objective is deemed to be 'secured'. So it might be that the 'arrowhead' formation resulting after the attack is completed might end up being a bit wonky.
