vanishing territorial

I don't have a save game file, before you ask.

Italy built an Ethiopian territorial. The territorial moved into British controlled AES. Italy is at war with both France and Britain. The next turn, the territorial was simply gone. There was no combat, no enemy units anywhere near it. It was out of supply, but I can't find any rule that says out of supply territorials are removed from the map.

In case it is relevant - at the end of the turn before the disappearance, Germany installed Vichy France, and because the dice were kind to Vichy, France was completely conquered.

Unless I'm missing something, this looks like a bug.

I didn't think territorial units were even supposed to be able to move outside the borders of their own country. That's why they call them Territorials.

RAC 22.4.5, p 161 "...territorials may only leave their home country if they are controlled by an active major power."

this have a simple cause.

when Vichy I declared, the game thinks that Ethiopia is a aligned minor of France.

so Germany get control of Ethiopia and it´s territorial.

so you will find them in the German force pool.

but clearly it is a bug

but really not a big issue, so it will not be a priority before steve get to the vichy bugs.
