DO they come in boardgame version aswell as 3D version?

Not sure if this is what you are looking for sir, just purchased the game so am unfamiliar with it

In system prefs there is the option for "Boardgame style maps" dropdown to select no, yes, or giant-sized.

Yeah, as well as the 3d versions, Storms of Steel and Ghost Divisions both come with very nice boardgame-style maps, complete with tabletop (just like Heroes of Stalingrad)! [:)]
