Great game - love the DLC's. Stuck at Storming Stalingrad, but I'll figure it out.
Would love to see a new feature: Withdrawing a core unit off-map DURING SCENARIO PLAY, into the reserve list, allowing a reserve unit to get onto the map. Case in point: let's say you have a unit that's been knocked down to strength (1) and you don't have (or don't want to spend) the prestige to bring it up to strength during scenario play. Withdrawing it off-map would then free up a slot for a unit in reserve to go on board.
Thoughts?

Good idea, by the way, how do you get rid of a core unit before the scenario starts?

While it is highlighted you press D. You get the prestige back if you do it in deployment. I don't think you get it back if you disband during the scenario.
I disband my captured equipment for emergency prestige. Some give quite a lot of it.

Another wish. Formations available to spawn SE units are very limited. Recommendation: would like to see Fallschirmjaeger infantry available as an SE unit. It makes sense: SE is "special elite," and paratrooper units are just that.

Really like this idea, it's similar to how you could withdraw units off map but for a penalty in Civil War Generals 2.

Another wish. Using aircraft types - level bombers or perhaps in-flight paratroopers - to conduct aerial resupply to a unit that can't take supply. Case in point: a ground unit is out of supply and in three enemy zones of control: this unit can't take supply and is vulnerable. Let's say you fly an He-111h directly to the friendly, out-of-supply unit, and instead of dropping bombs, it drops one unit of supply. Aerial paratroopers would function the same way. The bombers dropping the supply would expend a point of ammunition as if it were an actual bomb load, or perhaps two, since it's a bomber and not a dedicated transport.

I wish to see unit traits displayed somehow in the game. Like they were displayed in Pacific General, for example, in the unit purchase screen.
I guess it would not be too hard to add something similar to Panzer Corps as well. Minekiller, fortkiller, noreplace, noupgrade, just to name a few, are some of those hard to know traits, unless one opens the equipment file to check which units have them. Maybe rate of fire value should be displayed, too.

I would like to see a traits of the "Heroes" added to the equipment. For example my Recon car Sdkfz has a spotting limit of 3, with Heroes it should be 5. This would help me decide which unit is the best in certain situations.
+1 attack or such would be displayed at the bottom of the Traits.

1-I would love to see leaders with special abilities. In the same way than PGII and PeG:
http://strategywiki.org/wiki/Panzer_General_II/Leaders
2-More realistic supply rules should be a priority IMO (without supply there is no war...): The enemy is able to block roads, depending on the road/s blocked the adverse effects are total or partial lack of ammo/fuel. Something like this would attract to many wargamers.

Remember SE is really SS, I don't think there was an SS Paratroop unit but I could be wrong..

Even after the war the allies thought the 1st para Pnz div was an SS unit and almost handed them over to the soviets. No never ever any SS falls. Plenty off ss mnt tho would love to see more of them in this game.

Indeed, "SE" units get around the Bundesrepublik's lawful aversion to use anything associated with the Nazi party, even the historicaly accurate naming of Waffen-SS units. The point I make about having paratroopers available as SE units is that in all armies in WWII, paratroopers were elite, specially-selected and trained troops, with higher degrees of equipment usage and authorization - just like the (German) Waffen-SS units were. And yes, the Waffen-SS had paratroopers, but I don't recall in what numbers or unit size - probably no bigger than a small battalion.

I stand corrected. The SS had two Para battalions the 500th and 600th. Both preformed poorly in there two missions.
