Killington?

Love the game, especially now with the fantastic 1.4.2 update. This is kind of a random, geek observation, but being from New England, I couldn't help but notice the inclusion of Killington, VT in the northeastern US. This struck me as odd for a few reasons.
First, Killington is a ski resort town with a population of around 800 (I'd imagine less in 1914-1918). Secondly, it was named Sherburne during this period. Thirdly, the city of Burlington, just to north, is much larger and more important due to its proximity to Montreal. Is there some significance of Killington to WW1 that I'm unaware of?
Sorry for the geographical geekiness, just curious [:D]
Thanks!

The simple answer is I don't know why killington is in game, maybe one of the game designers has a connection, and simply added it to the game when first released.[;)]

Ah, ok. Maybe down the road someday you may want to consider moving the city up a little closer to Lake Champlain and calling it Burlington. I just find it hard to imagine that the Germans, having just captured Boston would say, "Onward, to Killington!!" [:)]

I could just add Burlington as a new City.[:)]

You know, now that I look at it, on the scale of the game map they're so close in proximity you could just rename Killington, Burlington and it would look pretty much correct. And it would make more sense....try to find Killington on google maps, its almost impossible.

Well renaming is certainly the easy option.[;)]

Well, I'd say there's two options. It could be renamed Rutland, which is a town geographically in the right spot. Or Burlington, which is "close enough" geographically and of much more strategic importance as a trade center (in the early 1900's). I know if I was invading New England, I'd probably want to capture Burlington before Rutland [;)]
