Quick question

Just picked up the game a few days ago. Did Sicily as an introduction and now I'm trying out the campaign game as the Axis (real men only do campaign scenarios). [:D] So far it looks pretty good. A nice quick game on a neglected theater but subtle. I don't really have the hang of logistics yet but it's a very nice touch and, like others, I enjoy WEGO the most.

A quick question, I saw the victory conditions for the Sicily campaign and I see the VPs awarded for the campaign game, but what are the numbers of VPs that the allies must get to win the game and same for the Germans. It's possible I overlooked it but I did go back and double check before I wrote this. Thanks!

There is no exact number of VPs to win. Because casualties are variable and they count towards victory as well as geographical objectives. Also, Messina's VP value depends on what turn it falls. So its pretty relative.

I can say however that if Messina doesn't fall at all, the Allies lose.

Frank what about the Italian Campaign? I can't see how many points are required there either.

Frank, thanks for the quick response. I see I wasn't clear in my question. Like Michael T I'm curious as to how many VP are needed to win the Italian Campaign scenario.

In the Italian Campaign the Allies need 130 vps for a marginal victory and 240 for a decisive victory.
