Couple of questions/issues

Is fratricide modeled in the game? In particular ATA missiles. The AIM-54 IIRC had "no friends" so you best stay out of the way. Is this the same with AMRAAM & SARH missiles? Reason I ask, I was playing a scen. and one hell of a ATA fight was underway, I had 15 or so fighters engaging 20 or more enemy fighters. Missiles were flying around like flies, but none of my fighters that were real close to enemy fighters got hit by "friendly fire". (I was letting the AI do all the fighting). These were AARAAM & SARH missiles that were being fired at the time.

Another issue has to do with strike missions, particularly the HI-LO-HI profile using durandals. I launch in groups, assign them to the mission and set a flight path (using terrain masking) to go LOW at the IP. The strikers attack the runway with no problem but they instantly break from group, increase altitude, and get shot up by AAA and SAM's. Is there a way to keep them low till out of engagement range? One that doesnt require micromanaging? It becomes exhausting doing the micromanage dance when you have several groups engaging from different axises at the same time.

Yes it very possible. Anything with an active seeker could be trouble though. Don't fire through formations is all I can say.

Not yet but will be part of the process of getting us to the strike editor.

I wonder what the most spectacular loss from fratricide is so far in the game?
I've managed to hit an Oscar in the Senkaku scenario, but with a torpedo from a Japanese sub that was so close the explosion caught it and sank it.

Yesterday while shelling the convoy in "stop the convoy" Red episode scenario, I managed to get the Nanuchka too close to a freighter and in the path of incoming airbursts I think. Yep sank that too.

On balance I think we have a clear winner.

Oh and usually megaton munitions are unacceptable for airstrikes ~5 nm from your airbase.

This reminds me of a wise man's(Blighty56) quote a few months ago...
Man your fleet had a bad day.

The worst blue on blue I've had is a scenario with the US and Israel versus Syria and Iran. Other nations involved are: Egypt, Jordan, and Iraq. All nations have their own sides. With Collective Responsibility and Engage Opportunity Targets = Yes set for all, ( I didn't understand what this was.) and each performing several strike and AAW defense missions in progress at the same time, will almost guarantee an ally's strike weapon is going to be shot down, immediately. This created an enormous sense of frustration, as I frequently had several hundred TLAMs launching from my CSG, targeting sites all over Israel.
