Is it possible to increase the size of the text in the game? I am returning to the game and have a sight issue and I cant read the text anymore.

Thanks

If you haven't already done so, try using the -altfont command line switch. It really helps make the font much easier to read.

add the " -altFont" switch to your startup shortcut's command line, it's a bit more readable but still pretty small.

I have used the magnifier that comes with Windows, but it can be annoying. It does help see some of those Dutch/Burmese words that run together, better.

Lowering the resolution will increase the text size.

What HansBolter said.

If -altfont does not improve things, the only way to increase text size is to decrease resolution but to continue running the game in full screen mode.

For my 16:9 TFT with native resolution of 1920x1080, the next lower working 16:9 res would be 1600x900. Be aware that only a limited set of resolutions work.

To try out which fit best you can use the table in below link:

Not long ago I had a computer meltdown and was not in a position to acquire a replacement so I cobbled together one from old parts.

Its decidedly underpowered and I'm using a small monitor.

I'm running the game at 1024x768 and my old myopic eyes are having no trouble reading the text.
