First three scenarios of squad leader - The Guards Counterattack, The Tractor Works, and The Streets of Stalingrad. The last one is the first two put together with some armor included. Played the first two a number of times and they are pretty good (and I think balanced). The last one I only played a couple of turns to make sure everything was good.

Please let me know of any problems.

Played Scenario 3 this morning as the Soviets. I won with 18 to 4 victory hexes. Real blood bath. Good job. This would be really fun as MP... if I could play MP....

Only found 1 problem, there is a line of sight error on the map. See the picture below.

Look for the posts "Squad Leader Scenarios 1, 2, and 3 (part2)" and "Squad Leader Scenarios 1, 2, and 3 (part3)" the rest of the files are there.

Hi, thanks for making these - I have downloaded the files, but I don't know where to put them.

[edit] Figured it out - for those who don't know, .bmp files in art/maps, .map files in maps.

1) Your game should be located in the folder C:\Matrix Games\Lock n Load Heroes of Stalingrad. You need to go there.

2) The 3 .map files go in the folder Maps - you should see a lot of files with extensions of .map and .mpp in there - just copy the 3 files into that folder

3) The 2 .bmp files go into another Maps folder located in the Arts folder - find the Arts folder and expand it - there should lots of files with .bmp extensions - copy the 2 .bmp files into this folder

Should be all you need to do - hope this helps

Thanks for making these and sharing! I just got the game, mostly because it looked like the original Squad Leader which I played to death 35 years ago. 'streets of stalingrad' took me back, and as one of the first scenarios I played in LnL it was a blast - I managed to win as the Soviets but only just. cheers!

I found when playing 'tractor works' as Soviets, if I pass every phase then the computer always passes too - whole scenario passes with no action, and I win... is this something about the AI programming or a bug ? See my post here
