Unity of Command wont start after patch

I downloaded the game and it played fine until I noticed a patch was needed. I downloaded and installed as the ingame updater didn't work. Now it just hangs at the start up screen, pressing PLAY doenst do a thing.

I'm sorry to gear you are having problems with the game.
Could you please try to update the game using the download link below:
ftp://ftp.matrixgames.com/pub/UnityOfCo ... e-v105.zip
Unzip the downloaded file. Run thee extracted file to update the game.Run the game after and check if the issue persists.

delete the game using the built in uninstall program then using a good reg cleaner, first making a backup of your saves if you need them.
remove the game with the uninstall program, then use your reg cleaner to clean the registry (i use ccleaner as it's free and a good little tool to have, but there's plenty out there)
re download the installation file if your not 100% sure your file is not corrupted and re install, after first re booting after the uninstall etc.
install game to default location and install all other programs as asked, even if your sure you already have them.
then re download the latest patch and install.
