Haven't played in some time and am getting back into it. I had the same issue when I left off previously. It's not a huge deal, but still happens after the 1.03 patch.

When I go into some screens such as the Mission Editor and make a change...or the Sensor screen and make a change. Once I close the box it returns me either to my desktop or whatever else may be open such as Firefox.

I have to click back onto the CMANO tab in my taskbar to return to the game.

4GB Ram
Dell Inspiron(Athlon X2 250-3ghz)
Radeon 7700HD
On-board Realtek Sound card
CMANO 1.03

Seems to suggest it will be fixed in next patch I guess.

I have had a couple games do this to me. It turned out that an app in a background process was trying to screw around with window focus. I can't remember what it was that was causing the problem, but one of the games was Panzer Command. Probably doesn't help much, but might point in a direction.
