Maybe I'm just thick, but the first thing I did after downloading was start banging my head against the wall because I couldn't save nor change the resolution. Read several threads before it occurred to me that the latest download isn't patched up.

So in case it helps somebody else, remember to apply the latest patch, makes sure you have a folder named "Save" in the "Dat" folder, and then you can go about the business of fooling around with the resolution and saving games.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but I installed the game outside of the default "C:Program Files" location. This helps some older games function better in W7.

There is a sticky with this problem in the support section. Matrix should fix the installation program, this problem is known since 8/1/2008

Isn't the bought game patched from start and if not, why the hell not? It has been ages from the release???

Pretty lazy conduct or stupid policy by Matrix to not even bother updating the game for new buyers [&:]

There doesn't exist a good explanation for such bad moves...and even if publisher will not, dev should care about it!!!
