Today I attended a Veteran's Day luncheon. The guest speaker was Colonel (R) Ben Malcolm. He served with the Special Forces operating deep in North Korea during the Korean War for a year. It was one of the most fascinating talks I've ever heard. It made me realize that with all my reading and research there are still so many who served their country, remained faithful to their comrades and were willing to sacrifice life and limb for their convictions, that I don't know about and probably never will. .

I never dreamed of what went on and still goes deep inside the dark mystery of North Korea. I salute the Colonel and all those heroes of all wars who served Freedom.
