If I order my fighter group to RTB (RoE settings on refuel=no) the group dissolves instantly and each unit again has settings refuel=yes and doesn't route to base but to any near refueling tankers. Then I have to set that variable back to no for each individual unit. Also regrouping is then only possible after giving the unassign order to each single flight (afterwards ordering RTB again for the group).
Is this behavior wanted and what good for is it?

Thanks for following up on this issue. Will the solution mean that aircraft which have sufficient fuel to reach their home base after completing a strike and moving into "RTB Winchester" status no longer automatically head for the nearest tanker instead?

I guess when the group is dissolved the individual members inherit the side RoE rather than the (now defunct) group RoE. I can imagine cases where a player could want either (I would generally want the side RoE to take effect when removing a unit from a group or mission, but in some cases, such as group dissolution due to RTB, I would want at least the RTB related settings to be retained). I recommend you set the side RoE to not use air refueling and only set it manaully for the units/groups you want to use air refualling.

Of course if your side RoE is already to not use air refuelling, then it is just a bug.
