SA-N-6a question

Hi,

I'd appreciate any info about SA-N-6a illumination in the following situation (see the attachment).

Scenario involved is "Battle of the first salvo" (excellent scenario BTW). The problem (at least it seems to me it is) which occurs is a lot of SA's going blind even during short range engagements. Now, while the area is being heavily jammed from both surface groups (USSR and US) is it possible that so many SA's would go blind?

What usually happens when i come to "go blind" part of scenario is that first 10-12 SA's goes blind but another salvo of 10-12 doesn't, after that some again go blind, etc. . Long range engagements go blind almost as soon as the SA's are launched. If you want to see what bugs me play this attachment from USSR side.

Thank you in advance,

Mike.

Hi Mike

There is something wrong with the file. Could you try uploading again. Keep getting errors when I try and copy it.

Sorry and thanks!

Mike

Yes, your fire-control radars are being jammed to hell.

Find a way to deal with the jammer(s) or you'll be seeing this a lot.
