Extended Map w SL

I am considering a stock scenario PBEM. Question is can you use the extended map and SL with stock scenario PBM with no problems?

I'd assume the the game would be playable, but would require both sides in a PBEM be granted 'extra time', each would need to examine all of their bases (& intended invasion targets) & be allowed 1st-turn moves to mitigate over-stacking and re-examine invasion plans.

No, the extended map has certain bases and units in different locations - you will see units and bases "in the ocean".
You must use a scenario that has been adjusted for the extended map. SL's are not an issue.... per say.
