If I make edits to the terrain layers using a program like Paint, how do I make certain they show up in my scenarios? I have selected the MyGraphics folder and the terrain layer I want to use but it shows up as the original layer.

First you need to create your set of map graphics for all weather conditions and include these under Graphics\Map\. Next you need to set the specific graphics to be used in the Map Maker. Then you need to rebuild the map cache for that map. this is important because only then will it use the new assigned map graphics.
